DANGERS OF SPIRITUAL BYPASSING

Some time ago, I found myself crying in some fashion every single day. However, being apart of this law of attraction/conscious creation world since i was 12 (30 years) I was terrified.  I felt these feelings were causing me to go backward. I thought I am messing up all the things.  I told myself that I had to put on this happy face.

 

I was practicing Spiritual BypassingSpiritual Bypassing is the use of spiritual practices to avoid various uncomfortable feelings.  I put on a happy face to avoid addressing the pain and difficulty that was bubbling up and ready to be loved, appreciated, and acknowledged.

 

As the vibrational frequency of the planet rose, so did the intensity of my feelings.  I could no longer hide from my soul.  I could no longer hide from what I was feeling inside.  It was time for me to open my eyes and acknowledge what I felt.

 

What did I do?  

  • I wouldn’t allow it.
  • I remembered everything I read or was coached.
  • I PUT on this FAKE happy face and force myself to feel a’ight.
  • I wrote a list of what is positive about this and perfect about that.
  • I continued to seek counsel outside of me for what was the RIGHT thing to DO.
  • I ignored my feelings and I would just go back to being happy Christine.

 

But the sadness and frustration just kept coming back even more intense.  I found myself in a worse position and I wasn’t co-creating anything with the universe but more of the same stuff.

 

FINALLY FLIPPED THE SCRIPT

Finally, I decided to forget all that I was taught.

  • I decided to do what I FELT I needed to DO
  • I decided to FEEL this fully.
  • I pulled out my journal and I wrote.
  • I wrote all the crazy bad things that I was thinking.

 

Initially, it freaked me out.  

 

I thought what the heck. I am creating more bad.  What the heck am I doing? But I kept going. I was crying and writing and writing and crying.  I stopped to breathe and just feel the sadness and frustration.

 

And then it happened.  

 

The feelings started to lighten.

 

I started to just feel love for those feelings and the feelings finally felt acknowledged.  

 

I told those feelings that they were OK.  They weren’t bad or wrong. They were just there.  They were there to make me aware of something I wasn’t allowing myself to be aware of…

 

My soul had been guiding me to no longer ignore how I felt.  To no longer ignore anything. It no longer OK to bury my head in the sand.  I felt the need to face whatever was going on and I was going to face it in love.

 

So that is what I did.

 

NO MORE VILIFYING PARTS OF YOURSELF

Because of what I was taught, I felt fear when feelings other than happiness or joy came up.  Therefore, I vilified the “non-feel good” feelings. I buried a part of myself. I hid the Shadowy Sides that I wasn’t proud of.   I was ignoring what was going on because I thought it was wrong.

 

In order to fully show up as yourself in this world, you have to embrace all sides of you.  By acknowledging and feeling all of my feelings and loving myself all the same, I was able to truly embody the powerful woman that I always was.

REMEMBER:  The Universe speaks in energetic frequency.  The Universe doesn’t hear what you say or pay attention to the fake smile…The Universe feels your ENERGETIC VIBRATION.  Your feelings are what is speaking directly to the Universe.

HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE SPIRITUALLY BYPASSING

I know.  There are times when I am “in my feelings” and I need to just Suck It UP Buttercup.  We all have those times when we just want to wallow in our feelings and put the sheets over our heads!  That’s human!  That is normal!  In these times, I choose JOY.   I choose to FEEL Better.  If you want to read more about that, you can go here => How to Choose Joy When It’s HARD

Now, there are other times when I am FORCING IT.  When I am putting on a “Happy Face” just because it is expected of me.  Those are the times that I am using something other than my own inner guidance to show me what to do and where to go.  Yes, I have coaches and mentors.   Coaches and Mentors can help you connect to your own inner guidance and help you hear more loudly what your Soul was saying all along.   However, I am talking about IGNORING what I know is true and going to someone else so that they can tell me something different. 

 

(1) You are avoiding how you truly feel

(2) You are putting on a happy face but you continue to feel even worse

(3) You are seeking help and guidance outside of your own inner knowing

 

 

SHE FELT HER FEELINGS AND MANIFESTED WHAT SHE WANTED

My client recently told me that she finally got what I was teaching her.  When she buried her feelings they just multiplied and intensified. But when she looked at them and allowed them things magically fell into place. When she stopped fighting and started allowing them to be she saw how quickly she could shift.

 

Recently she had a certain situation that she wanted to be different.  She finally stopped fighting her feelings. She stopped and acknowledged them.  She told herself OK this is the way I used to think. This is the way I used to be.  But now this is my new way. This is how it is for me from now on.

 

Then shortly after she acknowledged her feelings and beliefs in love.  She chose to shift them to her new beliefs.

 

What she desired manifested within a few short hours.

 

The key is she didn’t do this to Manifest what she desired.  

 

She did this because she was listening to her soul.  She knew that there was something she was ignoring and it was time to be honest with herself.  

 

She told herself the truth about what did she really felt, believed and what she was deciding to choose going forward.

 

When she did this EVERYTHING CHANGED.

The 6 Step Shifting Formula

NO FEELINGS ARE “BAD” 

 

There are No BAD Feelings.  Of course, there are feelings you would choose to feel more than others but there are NO BAD Feelings.

 

If you begin to look at everything as FEEDBACK, you have the POWER to observe from a place of non-judgment and choose something else.

 

Then follow the 6 Step Formula below to begin the shift.

 

STEP 1: BECOME AWARE OF HOW YOU REALLY FEEL

So I stopped and I looked at those feelings fully.

 

STEP 2: ALLOW YOUR FEELINGS TO BE FELT AND HEARD

 

STEP 3: APPRECIATE YOUR FEELINGS

I loved those feelings and appreciated them. I knew that my feelings were there because they were protecting me.  So I thanked those feelings for being there. I thanked them for their service.

 

STEP 4: FORGIVE YOURSELF

Then…I choose to forgive myself.  I felt that forgiveness.  I truly felt every single word.

 

STEP 5: ASK THE FEELINGS TO DISSIPATE

Then I said to those feelings, those thoughts and those beliefs… Now it is time for you to leave.  Now it is time for you to dissolve. It is time to go. And with love I asked for them to dissolve from my life and my field.  I get what I ask for. Ask, believe and Receive. They left.  Done? and Done?

 

STEP 6: FEEL FREEDOM & OPEN SPACE YOU CREATED WITHIN

I finally felt free.  I felt space. I felt the expansion.

 

  IS THAT WORKING FOR YOU

Sure it is very different from what traditional Law of Attraction / The Secret Teachers teach.  But always if something isn’t working for you tap into your own internal guidance.

 

Ask yourself, “Is this working for me?”  Only you know the answer to this question.

 

When something keeps popping up over and over again, it is asking to be heard.  The simple act of love and acknowledgement makes ALL the DIFFERENCE.

 

 

WRITE YOURSELF A PERMISSION SLIP

I ________ give myself permission to feel my feelings.

It is OK for me to feel how I feel.

I acknowledge my feelings.

I love all of my feelings.

 

 

REMINDER: YOU WON’T MESS UP YOUR MANIFESTATION

Feel your feelings!  Feel all of them.

It won’t reverse your momentum or ruin your manifestation.  In fact, it will help accelerate it.

 

Allow your “funky feelz” to be what they are…a vibration (thoughts, feelings, emotions desires  intentions) that are not in alignment with what you desire now. They are no longer in alignment with what your soul is telling you that you now are choosing to hear….

 

Ignoring them will keep you out of alignment

 

Sure it used to work for many years.  But the energy of the planet is moving faster and faster.  Now the things you used to do no longer work. You are seeing things manifest more quickly and shift instantly.

 

This is an exciting time to be on this earth.  You are being able to access universal intelligence in side with ease and flow.  What you think and feel is reflecting back to you more quickly.

 

It is time to shift how you have been doing things.

 

 

FEEL YOUR FEELZ

  • Stop Ignoring Your Feelings
  • Feel the feelz
  • Look at feelz
  • Acknowledge feelz
  • Love feelz
  • Acknowledge the thought or belief behind the feelz
  • Appreciate the thought/belief for being there
  • Then choose….Choose whether you want to keep that belief or if you want to shift it to something more aligned with who you are choosing to be
  • Then choose whether to keep them or ask them to dissolve.

 

 

IF YOU DESIRE TO SHIFT AND FEEL SOMETHING DIFFERENT

  • Ask those Thoughts/Beliefs/Emotions to dissolve
  • Ask and it is Done
  • Feel the space that has been created

 

 

CHOOSE YOUR NEW BELIEFS, YOUR NEW FEELZ

  • Fill the space with Thoughts/Beliefs/Emotions that you choose.  The ones filled with your truth from your Soul.

 

 

ALLOW THOSE NEW BELIEFS TO STICK

  • Go back to these new Thoughts/Beliefs/Emotions everyday.
  • Feel the feelings that align with them.
  • Allow them to become natural and normal for you.

 

 

THE SHIFT CAN HAPPEN VERY QUICKLY

  • This can all happen quickly.
  • You can shift as quickly as you believe it can happen.
  • The more you practice the easier it becomes.

 

 

YOU ARE WORTHY.  YOU ARE ENOUGH. YOU ARE LOVED.

It is possible to finally know that you are worthy.  It is possible to look in the mirror or the picture you posted of yourself on Social Media and truly love that person looking back at you.  I didn’t for a long time and now I do.
